At B’nai Torah, we have several types of education programs available.

Once a month, we have a Nosh & Drash where a congregant presents a topic of Jewish interest during Shabbat morning services.  Please see About our Services and Calendar for more information.

Upcoming Nosh and Drash Topics


For the next two months, we will continue our discussion of the implications of the Pew Study on Jews in America. On November 23rd Lowell will lead us in a discussion of ritual, both Jewish and non. Stan will lead a discussion of “What makes a Good Jew” on December 28th.

In January Rabbi Jaron Matlow will help us understand the concept and application of Tikkun Olam as presented in our traditional sources as well as modern ones.

In February our President, Larry Perrin, will discuss “The ‘State’ of Israel.

“Len Albert will follow up in March with an as yet undecided topic. Please consider adding your name and a topic of your choice to our roster of presenters.
