Congregation B'nai Torah Olympia
"The Little Shul in the Woods"
Home
Congregation B’nai Torah is an egalitarian, traditional Conservative synagogue serving greater southwest Washington.
Services are mostly lay led.
We offer a full range of services, life cycle events and educational opportunities for children and adults.
We welcome student and military attendance at our services and all events.
While we are a very small congregation, we are a M’qom Torah, a place of Torah. Please check our Upcoming Events, Schedule of Services and Calendar pages frequently for all the exciting learning opportunities and programming available through CBT and the broader Olympia Jewish Community. Additionally, please see Teachings to read past Divrei Torah, discussions of the Torah, and past Learner’s Minyans.
Boxes for GIs – Important Tzedaka Opportunity
We are collecting goods to send to US service members deployed to Afghanistan. Please consider donating various treats such as hard candy, candies with NO chocolate (it will melt), cookies, jerky, etc. In addition, books and magazines and toiletries are always appreciated.
* These types of items are great for the morale of our deployed troops.
* Note that items donated for this drive do not need to be Kosher, as the majority of soldiers receiving them are not Jewish.
* Boxes are available on tables near the door, in the Social Hall.
