Congregation B'nai Torah is a small lay led Conservative Congregation in Olympia Washington. We hold services four times a month: a full conservative Shabbat morning service on the 1st and 3rd Shabbats of the month, an abbreviated service on the 4th Shabbat of the month, and an Erev Shabbat service held on Friday evening at 7:30 on the 2nd Shabbat of the month. We have recently bought our building and all activities are held at our new synagogue building at 3437 Libby Rd. We have a school: educating our children from kindergarten through 8th grade.

Saturday Morning Shabbat Services 9:30 AM
Abbreviated Service 10:00 AM
Erev Shabbat 7:30 PM
Full Shabbat services are held on the 1st and 3rd Shabbats of the month. The Abbreviated service is held on the 4th Shabbat of the month. Erev Shabbat services are held on Friday evening of the 2nd Shabbat of the month. Check the calendar for specific dates.

Our synagogue offers egalitarian Conservative lay-led services. Saturday morning Shabbat services are always followed by a Kosher dairy lunch, to which everyone is welcome. Once a month we have an abbreviated service to accommodate those who want a shorter service. This is also an opportunity for new lay leaders to take a turn. We encourage everyone to learn a portion of the service and to lead.

The Congregation B'nai Torah Religious School emphasizes the religious, cultural and intellectual growth of Jewish children from preschool through eighth grade. We have 3 mixed age classrooms and a dedicated volunteer staff. We have plans to expand our youth programs to include more opportunities for teens and for families.

As well as regular Shabbat services, we celebrate the holidays as a congregation, including a community seder, Purim party, Hannukah party, and community sukkah service and meal.

Jointly with TBH, we have a Chevrah Kadisha , composed of congregants from both congregations.
